In the Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, two TV series became the great winners in the TV series fields. They are Homeland and Modern Family.

Homeland won two of its three awards: best drama series and TV drama actress for Claire Danes. Claire Danes is the one who is now a perfect 3-for-3 at the Globes. This time, the comedy drama Modern Family won the comedy drama award on its third try. Its nominated supporting actors, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara, lost to Game of Thrones's Peter Dinklage and American Horror Story's Jessica Lange, respectively. This is Lange's fifth Globe, tying her for third-most wins of all time with Rosalind Russell.
